I do hope you're having a fabulous weekend! Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Been super busy! But hope to change that soon:) Today I'm thankful for a warm home, silly kitties, leftover pizza, the new Coastal Living and Mumford And Sons playing in the background:)

Later, I'll be dog-sitting out in Suffolk for my sister! Looking forward to catching up with The Walking Dead and sleeping in a king size bed;)

Till later....stay blessed!

Ohhhh Mr. Darcy.....

Maybe you have a sister like me....who lives and breathes all things British?! If you do, awesome! If not, and you love all things British, especially Jane Austen.....then this post is especially for you!!!

BBC aired a 3 part mini-series over Christmas called Death Comes To Pemberley. It's a sequel to Pride and Prejudice that is just so lovely....I didn't want it to end! It's been 6 years since Lizzy and Mr. Darcy married and they are prepping for the annual ball they throw, when tragedy and mystery strike. You don't want to miss this one, trust me:)

Now I'm not sure when it will air here in the states on PBS. I've been told "this winter"....likely after Downton Abbey is done. If you don't want to wait that long (like me) you can view all three episodes on YouTube starting here. But act fast, my guess is they will pull them once they realize that people are watching them;)

On being grateful in 2014...

I have a lot of resolutions for the new year swimming around my head, as I'm sure you do too. It's that time of the year ya know? And inevitably I will not succeed at all of them. It's just how it usually rolls! But one thing I'm determined to be this year is more grateful. Whether it's the little things like seeing a butterfly land on a flower or big stuff like great accomplishment at work...I want to be hyper aware of these moments.

I saw this from a friend on Instagram a few weeks ago. She and her husband started a gratitude jar and once a week, starting in January, they would write down one thing that they were grateful for. Then it went into the jar, sealed tight and on New Years Eve they opened the jar and read the little notes. Realizing that even through this stuff called life....there are always going to be beautiful moments in the day-to-day:) We just have to stop and realize them.

So here's to 2014 and all the lovely moments which are yet to happen! Come back next January and I'll post the 52 notes I left for myself!

Stay Blessed,

I was thrilled to shoot two family sessions over the Christmas holidays, with two families that are near and dear to my heart<3 Today, it's all about my best friend Courtney and her husband Mike...along with her parents and three fabulous fur babies!

I hope you took time this season to either have a fun holiday session with a photographer or captured your own beautiful memories! And please, don't leave them on the camera or on social media only. Print! Print! Print! Get those images to a professional lab like Mpix and display them proudly. You will appreciate the effort and smile each time you look back on your beautiful moments!

Stay blessed,
